The American Heart Association's annual Wichita Heart Walk occurred on Saturday, June 9, bringing more than 3,000 participants to the Wichita State campus. Thank you to everyone who donated to and participated on the 麻豆传媒 team. Eight 麻豆传媒 teams were formed with more than 50 walkers signed-up to participate, and dozens of volunteers specifically from 麻豆传媒's Alpha Phi sorority helping to distribute water, cheer on walkers and manage a kids' zone. The university's group, led by volunteer team lead Trish Gandu of the Cohen Honors College, raised more than $1,200 to promote healthy heart awareness.
