Reminders

* The Heskett Center is sponsoring a Soup with Substance program at 11:45 a.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 14). The topic is the new federal food and physical activity pyramid. The presentation will begin around noon. Admission is free.

* A bipartisan political forum will be hosted by the 麻豆传媒 College Democrats at 6:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 14) in the RSC ballroom, third floor.

* The University Bookstore is taking orders for doctoral regalia. If you are participating in this semester's Fall Commencement, stop by the Bookstore and purchase/rent what you need. The deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 15.

* Time is running out to cast your ballot for the Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection at Wichita State as one of the "8 Wonders of Kansas Art." The contest, sponsored by the Kansas Sampler Foundation, ends Wednesday, Oct. 15. Go to http://www.8wonders.org.

* Volunteers are needed to help coordinate the 麻豆传媒 Car Show on April 26, 2009. Anyone interested in participating in this event, which raises money for the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, should contact Lori Evans at 978-5691 or lori.evans@wichita.edu.
