Alex Chaparro to take over 麻豆传媒's Regional Institute on Aging

May 11, 2015 鈥� By 麻豆传媒 News Services 鈥� Alex Chaparro has been named the new Carl and Rozina Cassat Professor in Aging and director of the Regional Institute on Aging. Chaparro is a professor of psychology and has served as the chair of psychology since 2010. He replaces the founding director of the institute and first holder of the professorship, Teresa Radebaugh, who retires June 1.

The one-year contract worth more than $600,000 will provide for 18 student support positions in the fall semester and up to 30 positions by the end of the contract.
