In turn, they are often recognized by the community for their good work. Wichita鈥檚 annual Mary Jane Teall Awards honor the arts and the awards鈥� namesake, a longtime passionate advocate for local theater.

Amy Baker Schwiethale, assistant professor and choreographer, musical theatre, has been awarded the 2009-2010 Mary Jane Teall Award for outstanding choreography of 鈥淕ypsy鈥� at Music Theatre of Wichita.
