ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ is welcoming vendors for its fall Shocktoberfest celebration. The deadline for merchants and vendors to join in the Shocktoberfest Family Weekend events is Aug. 31.
Shocktoberfest is a public event Sept. 30-Oct. 5 open to the entire campus and Wichita-area community. It is ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½'s biggest annual celebration of Shocker pride.
Opportunities for vendors to take part in Shocktoberfest specifically on Oct. 5 include a Brew Garden + Fan Fest, Entrepreneur Market and Parade.
Brew Garden + Fan Fest, Oct. 5
Wichita Stateβs inaugural Shocktoberfest Brew Garden + Fan Fest is in partnership with Shocker Athletics and runs from 2-6 p.m. on Oct. 5.
For the Brew Garden + Fan Fest, ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ will transform the alley and parking lot east of Charles Koch Arena for a fun-filled afternoon with music, food, drinks and fun for the whole family. The Brew Garden is the perfect starting point for the 2,000-plus people expected to attend Shocker Madness directly after.

Entrepreneur Market, Oct. 5
The inaugural Entrepreneur Market at Wichita State is from 9 a.m.-noon on Oct. 5 at Woolsey Hall. The event is hosted by ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Foundation and Alumni Engagement and is intended to highlight the many diverse small businesses created by alumni, the community, friends of the university and students.

Shocktoberfest Parade, Oct. 5
The Shocktoberfest Parade begins at 4 p.m. on Oct. 5. This event is open to anyone in the community who wants to be in the parade, including alumni, family, friends of ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½, students and faculty/staff. Participants are encouraged to decorate a vehicle or float β or simply walk in the parade.
