Former Apple executive to present at Corbin Connect

 

ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ alumna Dr. Rae Niles, former professional learning senior manager for Apple, will be the guest speaker for the upcoming Corbin Connect Speaker Series event from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 7 in the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½TV studio in ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½'s Media Resources Center.

The presentation will address digital transformation as it relates to teaching and learning. Niles brings a magnitude of educational leadership expertise from her 15 years at Apple in professional development and learning roles and her 14 years as director of curriculum and technology for Wichita Public Schools. She has observed schools, educators and students learning in various environments from around the world.

Seat reservations are required, and the event is free and open to the public. Those interested can or view the presentation via livestream through ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½TV.

Niles earned her bachelor’s degree in education and doctorate in education leadership, as well as other certifications, at Wichita State.
