Kelsey Mosiman of Leavenworth and Joel Reyes of Wichita have been named the 2022 Doris and Ralph Klose Scholarship winners at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½.
The scholarships are worth approximately $19,000 each. The two high school seniors competed in a scholarship competition at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ in November 2021, and they will begin their Wichita State education in fall 2022.
Mosiman is a senior at Leavenworth High School and plans to study secondary education in mathematics, and Reyes is a senior at Wichita North High School and will major in secondary education in biology.

The Klose Scholarship was established for students pursuing a degree in math or science education in the College of Applied Studies. Once they are admitted into the Teacher Education program during their junior year at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½, they will receive an estimated scholarship amount of $19,000 to cover tuition, fees and books. Both of this year's recipients will be studying either secondary or middle level education.
